Symphony of the Southwest Auditions
The Symphony of the Southwest announces the following vacancies to be filled for the upcoming 2026-2027 season:
1 principal second violin position @ $40.00 per service
1 bass section position @ $33.75 per service
Auditions will be held on October 3rd, 2026 at 9AM - East Valley audition location TBA.
Interested candidates must check the season's rehearsal schedule and concert dates. Principal players accepted must commit to all four concerts. Section players must commit to at least three of the four concert programs for the 2026-2027 season.
Winning candidates will play the 2026-2027 season on a probationary basis. At the end of the season, the Music Director will decide whether or not to accept the musician as a rostered member of the orchestra
Deadline for audition applications: Midnight on Saturday, September 26, 2026
