Symphony of the Southwest Auditions

The Symphony of the Southwest announces the following vacancies to be filled for the upcoming 2025-2026 season:

•   2 first violin section positions @ $33.75 per service

•   3 second violin section positions @ $33.75 per service

•   3 cello section positions @ $33.75 per service

• 1 bass section position @ $33.75 per service

Auditions will be held on September 27, 2025 at Mesquite High School, 500 S McQueen Rd (aka Mesa Drive), Gilbert AZ 85233.

Interested candidates must check the season's rehearsal and concert dates.  Principal players accepted must commit to all four concerts.  Section players must commit to at least three of the four concert programs for the 2025-2026  season.

Winning candidates will play the 2025-2026 season on a probationary basis.  At the end of the season, the Music Director will decide whether or not to accept the musician as a rostered member of the orchestra.
